Historical Background
As the Internet bubble was about to burst, WebConforme came into being in 1999 with a clear purpose: introducing an interoperable, portable and accessible alternative to firms desirous to acquire a Web site or application while offering sustainable solutions that comply with W3C international standards.
WebConforme has evolved to become a firm whose expertise was recognized within the Francophonie at the turn of 2004. Its alliances with reliable, complementary partners from Quebec and Europe allowed WebConforme to assault the market and become, among other things, the official supplier of the réseau des webmestres du gouvernement du Québec as well as the Service de police de la ville de Montréal.
WebConforme is engaged in a socially responsible trend of fair access to information and thereby naturally stands as a supplier to ministries and organizations concerned about making information available to everyone, including persons with disabilities and aging populations. The firm’s expertise in this field lately led to receiving a mandate from the ministère des Services gouvernementaux that consists in elaborating and implementing a governmental standard for Web sites accessibility in regard to persons with disabilities.
At the beginning of 2007, WebConforme’s main partners built on several years of profitable collaboration and decided to merge into a single entity. TIBizVision, belanger technologies and Consultation Boréale were incorporated to WebConforme.
